FRENCH SAUCE
French sauce is one of the best-selling sauces on the market with a long history of use in salads, but due to its combination with ketchup and mayonnaise, it is also considered one of the most popular food sauces and gives a delicious taste especially to cold sandwiches.
French sauce was one of the four mother sauces that Antonin Carme wrote in his cookbooks in the 19th century. Antonin Carme was one of the first chefs who compiled the recipe for making different sauces in a systematic and principled way. Later, each of these four sauces named tomato, bechamel, veloute and spagnole was called French sauce.
